About Us
A Bloody Good Record was founded by multi-instrumentalist and top pro engineer Mark Law. Beginning from the simple ambition to provide optimum professional studio services to a variety of clients, a bloody good record has grown and expanded to its current high-performing level of success.
Since its creation, A Bloody Good Record has been a silent king of the working musician, as well as a haven for corporations looking to improve their marketing with jingles, and quality controlled mastering. Located in the heart of Long Island City NewYork, housed in a secluded art warehouse, and furnished with comfort in mind, grants our clients a comfortable and most importantly private space to work.
ABGR is home to two custom tunes JBL LSR’s paired with a sub woofer, and two Yamaha MSP5’s for secondary referencing. The studio houses a Burl B80 Mothership for A/D - D/A, two Dangerous 2-Bus systems. and a Crane Song Avocet all routed to and through Protools HD. ABGR also includes countless well maintained outboard gear, including Rupert Neve Portico Channels, an original tube Teletronix LA-2A, Distressor pairs and more!
Here at A Bloody Good Record, crafting your perfect sound, maintaining the vibe, and executing your projects to completion are constant principles we strive to and consistently achieve each and every day. Please see our contact page for booking and additional questions.
